The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) has ranked DISH Network number one for customer experience in their report published May 16^th, 2012.

ASCI measures customer evaluations nationally and publishes yearly indexes ranking more than 225 companies and government agencies in 47 industries. Companies and agencies are ranked based on customer feedback and evaluations of the quality of products and services available to household consumers in the United States.

The ASCI survey placed DISH Network at number one for customer experience, including overall value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. DISH was above its main pay-TV competitor DirecTV, as well as Comcast, Time Warner and Charter in overall customer satisfaction. Dish Network also led the cable and satellite industry in call center and website satisfaction.

“Customer satisfaction has been a big focus for Dish,” Dish Network CCO Bernie Han said in a statement. “We’re pleased to see that our efforts to deliver a best-in-class service experience are being recognized by our customers, but we know that we have a lot more room to improve.”

Shows can also be saved to your personal DVR to keep them beyond the eight days.

Now DISH has announced an additional feature to Prime Time Anytime that has customers raising a call of joy: automatically skipping commercials. Known as Auto Hop, this feature allows you to automatically skip over commercials for most recorded HD Prime Time Anytime content.

As Ike Evans rings in the New Year at his luxurious Miramar Playa Hotel, Havana falls to Castro’s rebels. It’s a turbulent time in Miami, but it’s THE place to be. The Kennedys, the mob and the CIA all hold court here. And Ike, he’s the star of his hotel.

But everything comes at a price.

To finance his dream, he sold his soul to mob boss Ben “The Butcher” Diamond. Ike’s wife Vera, a former showgirl, and his three kids think he’s an honorable man, but he can’t break his pact with the devil. His life is a façade.

Newlyweds Leo, Channing Tatum, and Paige, Rachel McAdams, are involved in a car accident that robs Paige of her memories of their courtship and wedding. Paige is torn between the family she remembers but seemed to have grown away from and the husband she sees as a stranger. Tatum delivers a dramatic and heartwarming performance as the husband who struggles to regain his wife, and McAdams matches his passion and sincerity.

The Vow is a decent movie about true love, it’s satisfying without being overwhelming. Though it’s not quite in the same league as McAdam’s The Notebook, easily the best romantic movie of the last decade and so far of this century, it’s still a pleasant romp and McAdam’s acting chops and Tatum’s comedic quips are sure to please.

The Vow will be showing on DISH Cinema starting May, 8^th.
