Abraham Lincoln knew much sorrow in his life, beginning with the death of his mother at a young age. In the book and film universe, this death is blamed on a vampire and sets young Abe on a course that he follows secretly throughout his life. Fantastical elements and characters are woven expertly into Lincoln’s life and American history. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has declared Vampire Hunter “The best action movie of the summer.”
